ACL Recovery Specialist in Rockville, MD

The statistics are clear: 25-30% of ACL patients suffer a second tear according to research, but our rehabilitation methods have resulted in re-tear rates of less than 10%. Choose expertise that protects your future performance.

ACL Rehab The Right Way

Recovering from ACL surgery is tough, but you don’t have to do it alone. I’ve been through it myself—having torn both of my ACLs—and that’s why I focus on helping athletes like you.

With years of experience treating ACLs, I understand how important every detail is. I also teach other rehab professionals how to do it right, so you’re getting the best care possible.

Proper rehab can make all the difference—don’t become another statistic with a second tear.

His testing made me confident in my strength to return to play.

After suffering a torn ACL, Wesley helped me reach my goal of playing soccer for a top college program. During rehab, he was always encouraging and positive which helped me get the most out of each session. His testing was really detailed, thorough and challenging, so when I was cleared to return to play I felt really confident in my strength and abilities. He cares a lot about each of his patients and wants everyone to have a successful return back to their sport. There’s a reason I still choose to work with Wesley even after rehab. He’s such an amazing physical therapist, and even more, an amazing person!

He put me in the best position to succeed mentally and physically.

I had a GREAT experience with Wesley during my ACL recovery. Throughout the ten months, he did everything he could to put me in the best position to succeed both mentally and physically. He understood that my rehab was different than the persons next to me, and made me feel very comfortable being honest about about how my knee was feeling. He is extremely knowledgeable and has great work ethic. I definitely recommend!!!

He taught me to trust the process and believe in my knee again.

My experience with Wesley is one I will never take for granted or ever forget. He made my ACL rehab experience not only fun but I truly grew a lot as a person in life. He taught me how to trust the process and believe in my knee again which I never thought I could do. Wesley is one of the most dedicated, loyal, supportive, and hardworking people that I have ever met in my life. If it were not for him, I would not be close to where I am now 11 months post-op ACL. Playing lacrosse at a UVA can be rather intimidating after coming back from a torn ACL; however, he makes it all seem less scary. Wesley inspires me to have high expectations and goals for myself which is something I appreciate a ton about him. Most days, he believed in me more than I even believed in myself. I was able to express how I was feeling with him daily and he would accommodate my workouts to that, unlike most trainers who stick to their same protocols. I am so grateful for Wesley and all the tools he has helped me gain. I would recommend seeing him over any other physical therapist in the country. Can’t thank him enough!

He is why I play with full confidence after ACL surgery.

Wesley is by far the greatest PT EVER!!! He is the reason I am able to play the sport I love with full confidence after ACL surgery! Not only is he great at what he does, but he also makes a connection with each of his athletes. He cares for everyone he helps and wants to see them succeed. Even while away at college Wesley still contacts me to see how everything is and if there is anything he can do for me! ACL recovery is not a short process and I am so grateful that he was my PT because I could not have done it without him. Wesley along with the whole Healthy Baller staff makes me laugh uncontrollably and is a place I love being at!!!

On days when I couldn't believe in myself, Wes believed for me.

Wesley is an amazing PT because of his drive, knowledge and commitment to his athletes. I worked with Wes at Healthy Baller after tearing my ACL playing soccer. From the day I met him, he held me to a high standard and pushed me to be the best I could be. He never gave up on me and on days when I couldn’t believe in myself, Wes believed for me. Not only is Wes a great PT, but he is an even greater friend and person to talk to. I can’t imagine feeling more comfortable and motivated during the ACL recovery process than I did with him. I thank Wes for getting me, not only back to normal but, to be a better athlete than I have ever been before. He’s the best!
